# Soheil Router API

> Soheil Router (https://soheil.fi/developers/) is the swap API of Soheil.fi: one REST call returns the best price for a token swap on an EVM network and the one transaction that makes it, through our own contract (SoheilRouter: source verified on the explorers, not upgradeable, holds no funds between trades). The router takes 0.1% (10 bps) per swap; the integrator sets their own fee on top (up to 0.9%), paid to their wallet in the same transaction. Free API key from the developer dashboard.

## Key facts
- Base URL: https://api.soheil.fi/v1; send the key in the x-api-key header (keep it on your server).
- GET /v1/quote (or POST with JSON) returns the expected output, the minimum (enforced on-chain), both fees, what to approve and the transaction to sign; GET /v1/status follows a sent trade.
- Fees: 0.1% to the router, plus the integrator's own fee (0 to 0.9%), both taken from the token sold and paid inside the trade: nothing to claim.
- Non-custodial: the user signs in their own wallet; the contract never keeps funds between trades and cannot be upgraded.
- Same-network swaps on EVM networks today; the response shapes already carry both chains for bridges, which come next.
