Zcash has no smart contracts to bridge through, and few swap interfaces support it. Soheil reaches it through NEAR Intents, where solvers fill orders between networks, so you can move between ZEC and tokens on EVM chains or Solana without an exchange account.
Buying ZEC
- Connect the wallet that holds what you pay with (USDC on Base, ETH, SOL…).
- Choose ZEC on Zcash as the destination and paste your Zcash address (a transparent t-address, from your own wallet).
- Sign the transaction on the source chain. A solver delivers ZEC to your address, usually within minutes; the page tracks the order until it is done.
Selling ZEC
- Choose ZEC on Zcash as what you pay with and the token you want, for example USDC on Base, with your receiving wallet connected.
- Enter a refund address on Zcash. You then see a one-time deposit address and an amount.
- Send exactly that amount from any Zcash wallet or exchange withdrawal. When it is seen, the swap is filled and paid out; if it cannot be filled, the deposit is refunded to the refund address.
Things to know
- The deposit address is valid for a limited time and for that amount; do not reuse it.
- Use a transparent (t-) Zcash address to receive; solvers pay out to transparent addresses.
- Zcash confirmations take a few minutes; the quoted amount is protected by your slippage setting while the order fills.
