Connecting a wallet to a website is not always possible, or wanted: your coins may sit on an exchange, your wallet may not support the network, or you would simply rather not connect. Soheil can still swap and bridge for you. Instead of signing a transaction, you send coins to a one-time deposit address made for your swap, and the coins you asked for arrive at the address you choose.
How it works
Behind each deposit address is one of three partners: NEAR Intents, Relay or Chainflip. Soheil asks them for a price on your pair and amount, and you see what you will receive before you confirm. When you do, the partner opens an address that only your swap uses. Once your coins arrive there, the partner swaps them and pays out to your receiving address, and Soheil follows the swap until the coins land.
Nothing is connected and nothing is approved, so no website can ever spend from your wallet. You only send one transfer, the same way you would send coins to a friend.
Step by step on the site
- Pick what you pay with and what you want to receive, on any networks, and enter the amount.
- Under the amount, choose "Pay without a wallet".
- Enter the address that should receive the coins, and an address of yours on the network you pay from, for refunds. Use a wallet you control there, not an exchange deposit address.
- Check the quote and choose "Get deposit address". You see the exact amount, the address and, on some networks, a memo.
- Send exactly that amount from any wallet or exchange before the time shown. The page follows the swap until the coins arrive.
In the Telegram bot
The bot does the same in a chat: tap "Swap & bridge", pick the networks and coins, type the amount and paste your receiving and refund addresses. You get the deposit address and the amount to send, and the bot tells you when the coins arrive. It never asks for a seed phrase, a private key or a signature; anyone who does is not us.
Things to know
- Send exactly the amount shown, only that coin and only on that network. Other coins, or the right coin on another network, sent to the address can't be recovered.
- Sending from an exchange? Many take their withdrawal fee out of the amount. Add it, so the exact amount arrives.
- If less arrives, or it arrives too late, or the price moves below the minimum you were shown, the coins go back to your refund address.
- When a memo is shown, include it, or the deposit can't be matched to your swap.
- Each address is for one swap only. Start a new swap for the next one.
- Not every pair can be paid this way, and the price can differ from paying with a wallet. The quote shows what you get before you send anything.
