USDT exists on many networks. TRC20 means USDT on Tron, ERC20 on Ethereum, BEP20 on BNB Smart Chain. It is the same dollar token, but each network has its own addresses: you cannot send TRC20 USDT straight to an Ethereum address. Moving between them takes a bridge, and Soheil compares the bridges for you.
Steps
- Pick USDT on Tron as what you pay with, and USDT on Ethereum, USDT on BNB Smart Chain or USDC on Solana as what you receive.
- Connect TronLink and the receiving wallet, or choose "No wallet" and send the USDT from an exchange to a one-time deposit address.
- Compare the routes and sign once. The transfer is tracked until it arrives.
What each network costs
On Tron, sending USDT is paid in TRX (energy), so keep some TRX in TronLink. On Ethereum, receiving costs you nothing, but moving the USDT later needs ETH for gas, which is the most expensive of the three. BNB Smart Chain and Solana are cheap to use afterwards; on Solana you need a little SOL.
Stablecoin rate
Between two stablecoins our service fee is the lower stablecoin rate, shown on the route card next to every other cost.
